Church of Cyberology

Transparency policy

Version 1.0 (01-01-2024)

At the Church of Cyberology we believe in fostering a culture of openness, honesty and accountability. This policy outlines why transparency is important to us, what it means to us and how and when we are transparent. If you have any questions about transparency, please contact mail@cyberology.nl.

1 Why transparency

Transparency and being open fosters trust by demonstrating that the church leadership operates with integrity and honesty. When the church community and parties that are interested in collaborating have access to information about the church’s finances, plans and operations, they can feel confident that their contributions and (possible) involvement are handled responsibly.

In addition transparency holds church leaders accountable for their actions and decisions. By being transparent about the church’s finances, plans and operations, we are held to a higher standard of accountability. This accountability helps ensure that the Church of Cyberology operates in the best interest of its community.

2 What does transparency mean

Transparency means different things to different people. That’s why we are explicit on what transparency means for us.

3 How do we show transparency

You can find how we show transparency on the pages linked below.

4 Policy review

This Transparency Policy will be reviewed periodically to ensure that it remains current, effective, and aligned with the church’s goals and mission. Amendments or revisions to the policy may be made as necessary with approval from the governing board.
